Jump The Hedges

Jump The Hedges is a design studio based in Belfast and run by Síofra Caherty. Síofra is a designer, activist and educator. Jump The Hedges was established in response to a lack of eco conscious bags available on the market. Bags are made from reclaimed lorry tarpaulin and leather and all hand made in a small creative collective in north Belfast at the foot of the Cave Hill Mountain. Jump The Hedges has evolved in to a platform for zero waste activism and living. Síofra has recently returned from a ten week research trip funded by the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust across Europe and North America. The research focused on businesses, organisations and individuals that are trailblazing the use of zero waste and sustainable practices to grow and inform their work.
